I’m trying
to think of a way to celebrate Bob Marley’s birthday today. Maybe I’ll be Rasta
ganja-mon for a day. Don’t judge - it’s freedom of religion and all that shit.
Anyway, I have a prescription. I heard Glenn Beck say that it cures MD. If
Glenn says it, it must be true. Even if
it doesn’t I don’t think I’ll give a damn anyway.
What does
Bob represent to me? He represents freedom or the desire to achieve it. Not
your run-of-the-mill freedom to be obtuse and regressive but the freedom to
live and let live and the freedom to allow people to be who they really are. So far we haven’t evolved enough to achieve
that but instead choose to live with fear and hatred for people who challenge
us with a different way of looking at things. It’s evident to me that no one
seems to believe in what they say they believe in. If we did all of this could
be possible. Happy birthday Bob Marley and pass that over to me!
